Tips
Packing Boxes
Use medium size boxes with lids that are rated for approximately 50 lbs. - Too large of a box is cumbersome for one mover. Packing boxes without lids limits the effectiveness of packing the truck. Having open lid boxes will prevent stacking the boxes in the truck, because risk of damage to contents.
Do not over fill the boxes above their weight ratings. When the box is overloaded it becomes a hazard to the mover moving the box, as well create a risk of damage to the contents.
Lastly, always label at least two sides of the box with final destination of contents, ie, bathroom, bedroom, 2nd bedroom etc, and if the contents are considered fragile. This will help the movers place the boxes in the correct location and stack the box appropiately within the truck, not to damage the contents.
